Happy July, everyone! Summer has truly arrived, and there is such a wonderful, vibrant energy in the air right now. This month is particularly historic as we gather together to celebrate a massive milestone—250 years of July 4th celebrations! It is the absolute perfect season for traveling, catching up, and visiting with cherished friends and family.
Lately, my own days have been split between two of my favorite places: hours spent tending to the garden and quiet time in the kitchen working with fresh vegetables. The countdown is officially on—we are just about two weeks away from fresh, sweet corn on the cob here in Oregon!
Finding Bliss in the Longer Days
While I absolutely love the extra sunlight and the excitement of summer projects, these longer days can keep us running on high gear. After all the outdoor work and holiday excitement, my absolute bliss is finally sitting down in a quiet spot to relax with a stitching project.
